Body treatments include Swedish massage with the appropriate integration of therapeutic modalities, including Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Treatment, MET and Myofascial Release Techniques to ensure the highest degree of results, working within your personal comfort zone and tolerances. Our therapist also has training in and may incorporate Sports Massage, Pre-Natal Massage, Reflexology, Thai Massage and Active Isolated Stretching.

Bruce Bessey LMT
Bruce, the exclusive resident therapist at Ocean Point Inn & Spa, has been a licensed massage practitioner providing expert relaxation and therapeutic treatment for over 20 years. Taking an intuitive approach to massage, Bruce relies on his skills in touch and visual assessment while drawing from his experiences in massage during his travels through Southeast Asia and Mainland China to Canada and Eastern Europe.
Bruce graduated from the Massage Institute of New England in Boston, MA in 1991, a fully accredited and nationally recognized training program. Upon completion of his training he continued his education and tuning of skills working in a local chiropractic office.
As Bruce expanded into private practice, he teamed up with other local independent alternative healthcare professionals to form the Holistic Healthcare Network, providing expert and affordable preventative healthcare and therapeutic treatment services to the local community. During this time Bruce was recruited by the Massage Institute of New England where he trained as an instructor of massage techniques and clinical supervisor.
In 1999 Bruce relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada and built a successful massage practice which included local celebrities and athletes. He joined the team at the Dahan Institute of Massage Studies and quickly worked his way to Lead Instructor and Education Director. From there he was recruited by the community college of Southern Nevada and held the position of Program Director and lead Instructor in Massage Studies, developing an education program supplying expertly skilled therapists to the Las Vegas areas world renowned resorts and spas.
In Oregon since 2005, Bruce continues to refine his techniques thru accredited continuing education and is licensed in the state of Oregon and certified by the NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork).
Bruce’s love of massage and bodywork is reflected in every session.
